Laboratory Medicine and Pathology supports physicians by performing testing services for diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations. In addition to expert consultations, comprehensive laboratory services, and state-of-the-art laboratories, the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Bristlecone Hospitals features precise chemical, Haematological, and immunoassay procedures.

The laboratory teams consists of highly experienced physicians, scientists, medical technologists, medical technicians, lab assistants, biologists, chemists, microbiologists, geneticists, and other specialists all working collaboratively.

Pathology is the branch of medicine that assesses the effects of disease on the body. Bristlecone Hospitals provides a full range of diagnostic and assessment services. The Departments provide microscopic examinations of tissue samples, blood tests, drug monitoring, viral studies, body fluid analyses, and other tests, with a wide range of subspecialty areas. The specialties include hematopatholgy, breast pathology, dermatopathology, cytopathology and aspiration biopsy, renal pathology, special hematology and coagulation tests, and perinatal and pediatric pathology.
