The Division of General Internal Medicine offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care—from routine services like annual physicals and immunizations to specialized services like pediatric developmental evaluations, preventive care, and treatment of chronic medical conditions. General Internal Medicine also offers preoperative consults and integrated care through our Electronic Medical Records system (please see below). Our physicians ,nurse practitioners and highly experienced medical team uses evidence-based and patient-focused approaches to provide quality health care to a diverse community.

Electronic Medical Records

We use electronic medical records—a powerful tool that helps us provide each patient with consistent, timely care. By maintaining all of a patient’s records in one place—labs, diagnostic imaging, medicines and evaluations—our physicians and healthcare practitioners have more information and easier access to it, leading to thorough and efficient patient management.

• Comprehensive care for people with undefined symptoms — such as shortness of breath, chest pain, abdominal pain and back pain — who need help in diagnosing their illness
• Collaboration, which means we guide your care if you need the help of a surgeon or other physicians ,you will be guided to a multidisciplinary team of specialized experts
• Preventive medicine care — such as mammograms, Pap smears, routine colon cancer screening evaluations, cholesterol screening and blood pressure screening
